This international project will start in January 2024. Young people in Suriname and in the Netherlands will work together online for 8 weeks to produce 30 mini-chronicles in both countries about persons past and present who are committed to Dutch and Surinamese society. The young people get to choose which individuals they will make their films about. They are role models who inspire them, from the young to the old, or heroes of history. Because they produce films together in international teams and need each other in the process, it creates an intensive way to learn from each other and about each other’s cultures.
